Who We Are

Don't Go Missing is an iOS wilderness safety planning app for creating Safe Journeys before hikes, hunts, fishing trips, camps, remote drives, and other off-grid travel. The app is associated with bundle ID `com.dontgomissing.app`.

What the App Does

The app helps users plan destinations, set return times, choose trusted contacts, create safety checklists, prepare check-ins, share route or trip details through iOS sharing tools, and prepare SOS messages when needed. Don't Go Missing is not an emergency service and is not a replacement for emergency services.

Information You Provide

You may choose to enter an emergency contact name or phone number, trip destination, return time, check-in settings, and related safety planning details. If you contact us for support, feedback, or a data deletion request, we may receive your email address and the information you include in that message.

Location Information

Location information may be used to show maps, plan journeys, prepare SOS messages, and support journey tracking, including background journey tracking, when you enable those features. The app may request When In Use and Always location permissions depending on the features you choose to use. Location accuracy depends on your device, settings, terrain, signal, and other conditions.

Local and On-Device Storage

Trip, contact, checklist, check-in, and journey data may be stored locally on your device. The app is designed around local, on-device safety planning wherever possible.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Apple and the App Store handle purchases, billing, refunds, subscription management, and cancellation. RevenueCat may be used for subscription entitlement management so the app can understand whether a subscription is active.

Notifications

Local notifications may be used for check-ins, return-time reminders, and safety planning prompts if you allow notifications on your device.

Sharing and SMS

The app may use the standard iOS share sheet and MessageUI/SMS composer to help you share plans or prepare messages. You control what is shared or sent.

Website Privacy

This website is static. It currently uses no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking scripts.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising tracking.

Data Deletion

You can clear local app data in Settings where available. For support emails or app-related requests, email support@dontgomissing.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request." If the support address has not been activated yet, email Agcomsol@gmail.com.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Safety Disclaimer

Don't Go Missing is not emergency services. Do not rely on this app as your only safety measure. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Use of the app is subject to the Apple Standard EULA.
